Après des mois d’anticipation et une importante levée de fonds, la startup israélienne d’intelligence artificielle Decart a dévoilé une technologie révolutionnaire de transformation vidéo en temps réel, établissant une nouvelle référence dans le domaine en évolution rapide des médias génératifs.
Le nouveau système, baptisé Mirage, est présenté comme le premier modèle vidéo-vidéo en temps réel au monde.
Contrairement aux modèles vidéo d’IA existants qui génèrent de courts clips de quelques secondes seulement, Mirage permet une transformation continue de contenu vidéo en direct ou préenregistré, sans interruption, tout en maintenant une qualité élevée et une stabilité impressionnante.

Decart says Mirage can run at 20 frames per second at a standard web resolution, with an end-to-end processing delay of around 100 milliseconds per frame. That performance could make it feasible for live streaming, interactive video calls, and other real-time applications if hardware and cloud infrastructure keep pace. The company plans to expand to full HD and 4K resolution as performance improves.

The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and the startup company Decart have announced a strategic collaboration under which Decart will support the Technion’s excellence program, which will now be renamed the Technion–Decart Excellence Program. As part of the agreement, Decart will provide funding amounting to millions of shekels to support the program’s activities in the coming years. Dr. Dean Leitersdorf, the company’s founder and CEO, is himself a graduate of the Technion’s excellence program, along with seven other Decart employees.
In addition to supporting the excellence program, Decart and the Technion recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a joint AI research center.
